Royal Icing

Black sanding sugar, for decorating

Vanilla Buttercream

Directions

Prepare cookie dough as directed. Use cocoa-coated bat cutters to cut out bats. Bake as directed and let cool completely.
Use black-tinted royal icing to decorate bottom half of half the cookies and sprinkle with sanding sugar. Sandwich with vanilla buttercream.
